Description
The lion’s mane mushroom originates from North America, Asia and Europe. These unique furry-looking mushrooms are used for both medicinal as well as culinary practices. Its texture is very spongy and soft and its insides can be reminiscent of cauliflower. After cooking the lion’s mane mushroom achieves a delicate, juicy and meaty texture which a lot of people liken to crab meat, both by texture and taste.
Lion’s Mane is found in North America, Europe, and Asia. It was historically primarily used as a food source and as a tonic for supporting overall health and longevity. It is especially commonly eaten in Asia in place of meat and has been used traditionally in Chinese medicine for digestive issues and to slow down the aging process. It was said that Buddhist monks drank Lion’s Mane mushroom powder in tea to boost their brainpower and focus during meditation.
We cultivate mushrooms in a vertical mushroom farm on an organic mushroom substrate made exclusively from natural ingredients. In our farms we respect nature and use no pesticides or other chemical additives. These mushrooms, carefully selected and picked by hand, reach sales outlets while being touched only once – when they are placed on a tray after cutting. We hope the tray will reach you soon and will be enjoyable.
