Pink oyster is a tropical mushroom that prefers a warm climate and high humidity. Its widely popular in tropical countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Pink oyster has a rather short expiration date, which means its best to store in the fridge and consume as soon as possible.
Pink oyster can be prepared by cooking, grilling, or boiling but it’s important to note that because of their “meaty” texture the mushroom should be cooked for at least 20 minutes. The pink color they’re known for will fade with cooking. Pink Oyster mushrooms are known to complement coriander, basil, garlic, onions, sesame oil and soy sauce.
The Pink Oyster Mushroom has a high content of vitamin B, amino acids and protein. In Czech medicine, Pink Oyster mushrooms have been used as food supplements to cure and lower high cholesterol. Some studies have cited anti-tumor effects as well.
We cultivate mushrooms in a vertical mushroom farm on an organic mushroom substrate made exclusively from natural ingredients. In our farms we respect nature and use no pesticides or other chemical additives. These mushrooms, carefully selected and picked by hand, reach sales outlets while being touched only once – when they are placed on a tray after cutting. We hope the tray will reach you soon and will be enjoyable.
